How to Book

To make sure that those who need it most are able to use the lodge, the Abilitas Foundation asks individuals with a disability (or their caretaker) to complete our Booking Eligibility Form. This form is used to determine who may stay at the lodge at no charge.

Those who qualify to stay at the lodge are able to make a respite booking. The booking will be in the name of the eligible person and will be for a stay in one of the bedroom pods in the lodge. This means the person holding the booking is allowed to bring up to 6 loved ones (including a respite worker, if desired).

The completed Booking Eligibility Form can be submitted to the Abilitas Foundation at bookings@abilitasfoundation.org or in paper copy. The Abilitas Foundation identifies 3 categories of eligibility for booking purposes. At this point in time, as the lodge commences operations, all categories have equal booking privileges.

Category 1: non-ambulatory
Category 2: blind; cognitively disabled; semi-ambulatory
A completed eligibility form is required to place your first respite booking. Without a completed form, we are unable to comment on your eligibility.
